What we check
- Internal links
- Every link between your pages that answers 4xx or 5xx, or doesn't answer at all.
- Redirects
- Links that bounce through one or more redirects before they land. Each hop slows visitors and wastes crawl budget; update the link to the final address.
- Redirect loops
- Addresses that redirect back to themselves, so the page never loads.
- Outbound links
- A polite sample of up to 50 links to other sites, checked with a single HEAD request each.
