Setting up Chattish, and what Wilma does on your site.
Set up
- Getting startedSign in with your email, paste your website's address, and put Wilma on your site. Most small sites are ready in a few minutes.
- Install on any website (HTML)Paste one script tag before the closing body tag on every page. It loads after your page, so it won't slow it down.
- Install on WordPressUse the Chattish plugin to add Wilma, verify your domain and send new posts the moment you publish them. Or paste the snippet with WPCode.
- Install on WixAdd the snippet as custom code on all pages. Wix only allows this on premium plans with a connected domain.
- Install on ShopifyInstall the Chattish app from the Shopify App Store. It creates your guide, adds it with a theme app embed and keeps your products and pages in sync. Plans are billed through Shopify.
- Install on WebflowPaste the snippet into your site's footer code and publish. Custom code needs a paid Webflow site plan.
- Install on SquarespacePaste the snippet into Code injection, in the Footer box. Available on Core plans and up.
- Verify your domainProve the website is yours with the snippet, a meta tag, a file or a DNS record. Verifying unlocks re-crawls, nightly refreshes and Map from my browser.
- Map from my browserWhen a firewall blocks our crawler, your own browser can read your public pages and send them to Chattish. Here's how it works and why it takes two clicks.
How Wilma works
- How answers workWilma answers only from pages on your website, links to the page that backs each answer up and highlights the sentence. When she can't find it, she says so.
- Content gaps and AI draftsSee the questions your site doesn't answer, grouped by meaning and ranked by how often they're asked, and draft the missing page from those real questions.
- LanguagesFor now Wilma answers in English and her interface is in English. Visitors can still ask in other languages; their questions are matched against your pages.
- Personas and brandingPick the guide that greets your visitors, give it your own name on a paid plan, and hide the "Powered by Chattish" badge on Growth and Agency.
- Free SEO toolsWhat the free broken-link, sitemap & robots and AI-readiness checks look at, how the score is calculated, and what the limits are.
Your account
- Team and rolesInvite people to your workspace as owners, admins or members. Seats on your plan count members plus pending invites.
- Billing, limits and overageWhat each plan includes, what counts as a conversation, and what happens when you reach a limit. The guide never goes dark.
- Privacy and dataWhat our crawler reads, what we store from chats, how long we keep it and how to delete it.
